Sneaky Dog Steals Dentures

Grace Higgins | September 2nd, 2019

A little dog named Luna is always happy and smiling in her own way. She has plenty of reasons to smile too; just a few months ago she was found wandering the streets alone. But recently, she was adopted into a loving home by her new mom Anna Carolina Lima and her fiancé. The couple lives with Luna in Brazil and they couldn’t love the sweet little dog more. But a recent visit to the home of Lima’s grandmother had Luna smiling in a very different way. After they went to Grandma’s house for a few times, Luna made herself at home. So Anna felt comfortable leaving her there for a few hours while she ran some errands.

On one of those occasions, Anna’s grandma decided to lie down for a nap. When she did so, she removed her dentures and placed them under her pillow so she wouldn’t lose them. But Luna watched all this happen and instead of taking a nap herself, she saw an opportunity. Once grandma woke up for her nap, the dentures were nowhere to be found. She and Anna’s mother spent hours looking for them. Once Anna came home and heard what had happened, she immediately thought of Luna. Sure, enough Luna had absconded with the dentures.

Luna was sitting in a chair with the dentures in her mouth. She seemed to find the entire thing quite amusing—as did everyone who saw her with the “human teeth” in her mouth. It took some maneuvering, but eventually they were able to get the dentures back from Luna. Best of all, they were not injured in the incident. No one was upset about the incident either. Anna’s family are all dog and animal lovers, and they laughed about the entire incident—and got some great photos to add to their funny story.
