Puppy Is Jenga Master

Grace Higgins | May 12th, 2019

There is no question that a five month old chocolate Lab named Remy is a very good girl. But what is not immediately apparent is that she is also a genius and also a prodigy. Remy’s owner, a woman named Ashley Agapiou knew the little pup was special from the moment she brought her home. She says Remy has a sweet, infectious personality and loves nothing more that playing with her toys and bringing them to you to show you how great they are. However, no one had any idea how smart Remy truly is until Ashley threw a party in her home to watch the basketball games during March Madness. Everyone was watching the games, but she also set up a large game of Jenga in case anyone was interested in playing a game themselves. Everyone was focused on the game but little Remy could not take her eyes off of the Jenga game.

When Ashley saw how interested Remy was in the Jenga tower, so she got out her phone to record her. As any human knows, Jenga can be a tough game that requires a steady hand and calm disposition. But Remy the puppy was up for the challenge—even though she had never seen it before. Remy clawed at the blocks on the bottom and then used her mouth to gently pull the block out. The tower wobbled a little but it never fell over—Remy had done it! Best of all Ashley caught it all on camera and posted the video to social media where it quickly went viral. Remy was so proud of herself, grabbing the piece and happily trotting away with it in her mouth.

Ashley says Remy is as sweet as she is smart and she is so lucky to have her in her life. While Jenga blocks are not dog toys, she let Remy play with the block she removed for a little bit—a fitting reward for a smart little pup.
