Man Finds Lost Dog In Pajamas

Grace Higgins | September 4th, 2019

Kristofer Goldsmith was driving to work like any other workday, when he saw something unusual: a flash of blue and white running down the street. He immediately put his truck into park and hopped out to investigate. When he approached and got closer, he realized it was a dog and it was wearing pajamas. Kristofer approached the pup and though it seemed a little scared, the dog allows him to pick him up. He put the dog in his truck and made a makeshift leash out of parachute cord and attached it to the dog’s collar. He walked the dog around, letting him lead the way, hoping he would find his home. But he seemed to just walk in circles and didn’t recognize any of the homes.

So, they headed back to the truck and the dog immediately snuggled up to his new friend. It was an instant connection, so Kristofer brought the little pup to work with him. The dog had a rabies vaccine tag, so Kristofer called the number on the tag and learned that the dog had a name: Frosting. He was 8 months old, too. But the company wouldn’t give Kristofer contact information due to privacy issues, but they said they would contact his owner themselves. Kristofer figured his owner was missing such a sweet, loving dog—and he even posted the photos and stories to Twitter just in case.

Once the pair made it to Kristofer’s workplace, Frosting wouldn’t leave his new dad’s sight. He say in his lap and wouldn’t let him stand up to use his standing desk, either. Ironically, Kristofer and his wife were planning to adopt a dog and they were looking for a small dog that could be his office buddy. Frosting was looking like the perfect dog for them. Weeks have gone by and no one has stepped forward to claim Frosting, so Kristofer and his wife are thrilled to welcome him into their home!
