Country singer Tim McGraw left his fans shocked, as he collapsed during a performance in Dublin,
Ireland on Sunday evening. The singer was in the middle of performing his hit song, ‘Humble & Kind’ when he suddenly fell to his knees and collapsed. McGraw’s wife of 22 year singer Faith Hill appeared on stage with McGraw’s band. She said her husband was suffering from severe hydration, due to traveling around so much. She advised everyone in the audience to drink plenty of water, and take care of themselves.
Hill said that she decided that her husband could not return to the stage to finish the show. Although she said ‘Tim will be fine’. The audience broke out in a huge round of applause as Hill said that her husband would not return to the stage. McGraw was appearing on stage as part of the ‘C2C’ tour which was a three day country music festival. The event started on Friday night in London and Saturday night in Glasgow. The Dublin show was the last performance in the three day event. McGraw and Hill will be on tour together this summer. Their first appearance is scheduled for May 31st in Richmond, VA. The concert tour ‘Soul2Soul’ performs in 29 U.S. cities.
McGraw and Hill have started to sing duets in 1997, with their first duet ‘It’s Your Love’. The Dublin crowd could be heard saying ‘Get Well Tim’. After the concert a rep for McGraw released a statement,”Tim McGraw was suffering from dehydration in Dublin this evening at the C2C show. He was attended to by local medial staff on-site, and he will be fine. He and Faith thank everyone for their love and support, and look forward to seeing their Irish fans again soon.” The couple have three daughters, Maggie, Gracie and Audrey. The youngest Audrey,16, is embarking on a singing career. She has been performing at some of her father’s concerts.
